Product Description
Coral Excellent (Acetamiprid 20% SP) is a systemic, broad-spectrum insecticide formulated as a Soluble Powder (SP), belonging to the Neonicotinoid chemical group. It controls sucking pests such as aphids, leafhoppers, whiteflies, thrips and scale insects on paddy, citrus, cotton, cabbage, pulses, sesame and chili.
Mode of Action
- Coral Excellent is a Group 4 (Neonicotinoid) systemic insecticide acting on the insect nervous system.
- It binds to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, causing continuous nerve stimulation, paralysis and death of the pest.
- Being systemic, it is absorbed and translocated within the plant, protecting new growth and the underside of leaves where sucking pests hide.
- Effective against pests resistant to organophosphate and pyrethroid insecticides.
Directions for Use
- Apply as a uniform foliar spray when pests first appear, following the crop-wise rate below.
- Calculated on the basis of 5 knapsack sprayer loads of 16 L water per acre.
- Re-entry period after spraying: 24 hours.
- Apply 1–2 times per crop season, at 7–10 day intervals depending on pest pressure.

Precautions
- Wear gloves, a face mask, goggles, a long-sleeved shirt, long trousers and a hat during mixing and spraying.
- Avoid direct contact of the spray with eyes and skin, and avoid inhaling spray mist or dust.
- Do not eat, chew betel, smoke or drink while handling or spraying the product.
- Wash hands thoroughly with soap after handling; wash contaminated clothing thoroughly after use.
- Do not spray against the wind.
- Highly toxic to aquatic life — do not contaminate ponds, rivers or water sources; do not spray near fish or bee-keeping areas.
First Aid
- Remove contaminated clothing immediately.
- Wash affected skin thoroughly with soap and water.
- If in eyes, rinse gently with plenty of water for several minutes.
- If inhaled, move the person to fresh air and keep them calm.
- If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; seek medical advice immediately and show the container/label to the doctor.
- Seek medical advice and treatment in all cases.
Antidote
No specific antidote. Treat symptomatically according to signs of poisoning.
Storage & Disposal
- Store in the original tightly closed container in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, away from direct sunlight.
- Keep away from children, animals, food, animal feed, seed and fertilizer.
- Do not reuse empty containers for any purpose.
- Do not wash spray equipment or empty containers in rivers, streams or ponds; bury empty containers deep in the ground, away from water sources.
- Do not burn or dump.
